Beyond the competitions, at STAR UMA we believe in the importance of bringing science, technology and robotics to the public. Throughout the year we take part in different events where we showcase our projects and share our passion.

🎓 UMA Open Day

Every year the University of Málaga opens its doors to prospective high-school and vocational-training students. STAR UMA takes part with its own stand where we showcase our robots, explain our projects and answer the questions of students interested in degrees such as Robotics and Mechatronics or Electronics.

🔧 Espetos Industriales

University–Industry day held at the UMA School of Industrial Engineering. Former students —now professionals at companies like Renault, Airbus or Veolia— share their experience with us. A unique opportunity to connect academia with the professional world and give STAR visibility.

🚀 Talent Land Spain

A reference event for innovation, science and technology held at FYCMA (Málaga), bringing together young talent, companies and universities. STAR UMA showcases its robots and connects with other teams, professionals and potential collaborators in the tech sector.

🌕 Noche en Blanco

The Noche en Blanco is the ultimate celebration of culture and science in Málaga. STAR UMA joins this incredible event by bringing technology to the streets and sharing our team's work. It is the perfect opportunity to showcase our projects up close, pass on our motivation, and spark a passion for robotics among everyone there.
